Sending Love


Over at As You Like It, challengers are asked to describe their favorite style and I think this card is a lot like most of my others.  99% of the time I:
...use my Silhouette Studio software to design my cards and use the print n cut feature.  Notice the "layers" are not really layers on this card, the 3 strips of paisley and the mats are actually flat with the gingham, saves a lot on paper!  This card is actually only 3 layers, the big square, the large oval and the image, but it may look like 7 at first glance.  I have to say my Cameo has paid for itself many times over because it gives me the ability to do this in an easy way.
...follow a Sketch
...use a digital stamp and digital papers
...color my images with markers
...add some favorite embellishments.  (In this case it's a bow made with my new Bow It All and some gems)
So in short I would have to say my favorite style is hybrid which means I love a mix of digital and "real" elements on my cards.  You can explore the many facets of Hybrid Crafting ->here<- at The Hybrid Chick.

    Wow! I would have never guessed that your "layers" were not really layers. I've never investigated what the Silhouette Studio software could do, but I'm now intrigued. I love the colors you used in your card. Thanks for sharing your creation at Savvy Handmade Cards.
